Vencor was founded by Michael Vendetti in 2023. He is a graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Management Information Systems. Shortly after graduating, Michael began his career at Cinergy Marketing & Trading (formerly Cincinnati Gas & Electric) in 2000.

After that, Michael worked for EDF Trading North America (formerly Eagle Energy Partners). His roles in this company were focused on trading, asset management, and origination, specifically in energy management of the company’s third-party generation assets.

Then, Michael assumed the position of Head of U.S. Gas Trading at Just Energy, Inc. This role involved overseeing risk management and optimization of the company’s wholesale supply business, as well as its transportation and storage assets.

Before establishing his own company, Michael held vital positions at Rainbow Energy Marketing Corporation. For 8 years, he served as the Head of Natural Gas Trading and Asset Optimization for Texas, as well as the Head of Mexico Natural Gas for RC Energy, S. de R.L. de C.V.
